Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Sebastian Szymanski from Turkish outlet Fenerbahce at the end of the season.

A report from Turkish publication Aksam claims that Tottenham are interested in signing the 24-year-old attacking fielder at the end of the season and Fenerbahce have already lined up a potential replacement.

They are keen on signing the Union SG attacker Cameron Puertas as a potential replacement for the Polish midfielder.

Szymanski has 12 goals and 16 assists in all competitions season and he could prove to be a quality acquisition for the North London club. He will add goals and creativity to their midfield. He’s also versatile enough to operate central as well as in wide areas.

Tottenham have been overly dependent on James Maddison for goals and creativity from the central areas. They need more options in that department and the arrival of Szymanski would be ideal for them. They are looking to secure Champions League qualification for the next season and they need a deeper squad to do well across multiple competitions.

It will be interesting to see if they can agree on a reasonable fee with the Turkish outfit for the 24-year-old midfielder. He is likely to be tempted to join Tottenham in the summer, and it will be interesting to see if Spurs can get the deal done.

A move to the Premier League will be an exciting opportunity for the 24-year-old midfielder and he will look to showcase his qualities at a higher level. He has the technical attributes to do well in the Premier League and he could establish himself as a key player for the North London club in the coming seasons.

The midfielder is entering his peak and he will want to join a club capable of winning major trophies. Tottenham have an exciting project and there is no reason why they cannot compete for trophies in the coming seasons.
