Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the VfB Stuttgart attacking midfielder Enzo Millot during the summer transfer window.
The French attacking midfielder has done quite well for the German club and he has eight goals and seven assists to his name. The player is reportedly open to moving away from the German club in the summer, and he is looking to take the next step in his career.
The report via SportWitness states that Arsenal are keen on the player as well, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham can win the race for his signature. The 22-year-old midfielder has a release clause of just under €20 million.
The Frenchman is highly rated across Europe and he is regarded as one of the finest young talents around. He could develop into a key player for Tottenham with the right guidance. They could use more quality and depth in the final third, and he will help create goal-scoring opportunities for his teammates and find the back of the net as well.
Stuttgart manager Sebastian Hoeneß claimed recently: “The lad is blessed with extraordinary gifts. He’s exceptionally good. We could talk about many today, but he really delivered something extraordinary. We all know the kind of form he’s in. He’s playing a great season.”
It remains to be seen where he ends up.

Spurs or Arsenal could be ideal destinations
Millot will want to join a club capable of fighting for major trophies and the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal could provide him with that opportunity.
James Maddison has been quite inconsistent since the move to Tottenham and the competition for places would be ideal. Meanwhile, Arsenal have been overly dependent on Martin Odegaard for creativity from the central areas. Millot could share the creative burden with the Arsenal captain and he will help the Gunners improve going forward. Both teams need more depth in the squad if they want to do well across multiple competitions. It remains to be seen whether they can sign the midfielder.
