Tottenham urged to ‘just go’ and sign 23-year-old as key star’s ‘great replacement’

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been linked with a move away from the club this summer.

The 30-year-old England international has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich and Tottenham have been linked with a number of potential replacements.

Journalist Ramon Vega has now suggested that Tottenham should like to sign Dusan Vlahovic if they lose Kane this summer.

Posting on Twitter, Vega said: “If and only If Harry Kane leaves @SpursOfficial just go for Dusan Vlahovic would be a Great replacement.”

The 30-year-old is in the final year of his contract with Tottenham and the London club are under pressure to sell him. They will not want to lose him on a free transfer.

The German club are pushing to sign the striker and it wouldn’t be surprising if a deal got done in the next few days.

Meanwhile, Vlahovic has had a mixed campaign with Juventus plus season and he scored 14 goals across all competitions. The 23-year-old was regarded as one of the best young strikers in the world but he has not been able to hit the top form since his move to Juventus.

A fresh start in the Premier League could be tempting for him.

There is no doubt that the Serbian international has the technical attributes and physicality to succeed in the Premier League and he could be the ideal long-term replacement for Kane.

The striker is reportedly valued at £68 million and it remains to be seen whether Spurs can sign him for a reasonable price.

The Serbian has the potential to develop into a world-class goal scorer and he could be a long-term asset for Tottenham.

Despite the fact that the north London outfit will not compete in the Champions League next season, they have an exciting project and an ambitious squad. Vlahovic would be tempted to join them if there is a concrete proposal on the table.
