Harry Kane could make a shock return to Tottenham this summer.
That’s according to the latest report from Tottenham News, which claims that the player would be open to making a return to the Premier League with his boyhood club due to the current uncertainty surrounding Bayern.
Harry Kane left the club in the summer and joined the Bundesliga giants in a record transfer deal worth £82 million.
Despite the England striker’s exceptional individual season, Bayern Munich’s overall performance has failed to meet their typical standards, potentially leading to their first trophyless season in years.
They have been eliminated from all domestic cups, trail Bayer Leverkusen by 8 points, and suffered a loss in the first leg of the Champions League tie against Lazio.
And recent reports have suggested that the former Spurs man is ‘unhappy‘ at Bayern amid their ongoing crisis.
Earlier this week it was announced that manager Thomas Tuchel is set to leave the club at the end of the season as welll, to which Kane admitted his sadness.
TBH Says:
It was always expected that Kane would return to the Premier League as he still has Alan Shearer’s record to beat but the return could come sooner than expected.
That being said, we don’t think a return is on the cards this summer despite the reports, however, a lot would depend on who Bayern appoint to replace Thomas Tuchel.
