Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the former Chelsea manager Graham Potter.
The 47-year-old British manager was recently sacked by the Blues after a series of disappointing results that have seen Chelsea drop down to the bottom half of the Premier League table.
According to a report from Daily Mail, some of the Tottenham staff are keen for the London giants to appoint Potter as the new manager.
However, the report adds that club Chairman Daniel Levy fancies the idea of appointing Vincent Kompany as the long-term replacement for Antonio Conte.
The 37-year-old Belgian manager has done an exceptional job at Burnley, and he has got them promoted to the Premier League with a number of games in hand. Not only did he bring Burnley back to the top flight, but he has also transformed their playing style as well.
The Clarets have played an attractive brand of football throughout the season and Kompany’s playing style could be the ideal fit for Tottenham Hotspur.
The North London giants of players like Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min, Richarlison, and Dejan Kulusevski at their disposal. Kompany could get them to play attractive football next season and his attacking approach will certainly excite the fans.
