Tottenham signing ‘expected to be completed soon’, star confident of impressing Postecoglou

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur are set to finalise the signing of Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus.

The player was on loan at the London club and the Premier League side have now decided to sign him permanently.

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the transfer is ‘expected to be completed soon’. Personal terms have already been agreed with the player and Kulusevski will now look to concentrate on his football, especially now that his long-term future has been sorted.

As per Romano, the final fee for the 23-year-old Swedish winger will be around €30 million. Daniel Levy has managed to reduce the initial €35m asking price from Juventus through negotiations.

Kulusevski has had a mediocre campaign with Spurs this season but he is a prodigious talent with a high ceiling. He showed his quality initially after the move to the London club and he will look to get back to his best next season.

Meanwhile, a report from 90 Min claims that the player and his camp are confident of impressing the newly appointed Spurs manager next season.

Initially, there were rumours that the Australian was not convinced by the 23-year-old.

Postecoglou prefers a free-flowing style of attacking football and it is fair to assume that such a setup will work in the favour of players like Kulusevski. It remains to be seen whether he can get his career back on track and establish himself as a key player for the new Spurs boss.

Meanwhile, the €30m move could look like a major bargain in the long run if the 23-year-old fulfils his potential in the coming years.
