Tottenham show their class in unity with Arsenal despite bitter rivalry

By Bruce Grove -

We all know the bitter rivalry between Tottenham and Arsenal and that there is zero love lost between the clubs but sometimes outside events are too big and important to just let go.

Arsenal teenager Bukayo Saka was racially abused after he missed a penalty for England in the Euro2020 final, it was vile, nasty and has no place in the game we all love.

Tottenham today put out a banner in support of Saka and the club tweeted an image of the said banner.

Tottenham won the game as I am sure most of you are aware by now and it was a decent performance all things considered but the classy support for Saka shown by Spurs should not be a side note in this.

Arsenal is a horrid club who I have no time for but like most of us, I have far less time for racists and will always stand alongside any footballer from any club that gets racially abused.

All these problems that N’Dombele has would have been evident at his previous clubs. We have gambled big time with him. He’s very talented and I hope he can turn things around.

You know Levy he always want to maximise the sale anyway I find ndombele a 45 minutes player or maximum 60 minutes so is up to the manager to manage that how he wants to use him but there is no doubt he is talented he is addicted to sweets and that is what killing him cheers.

There is a rumour the club want to sell him £50mill but there is no money in Spanish and Italian clubs so no one can afford him.

Is there a bit of siege mentality breaking out and the deadweights are realising they have to up their game because fresh troops are on their way.

It must be such an effort to be a racist football fan now considering every international and club side is such a melting pot.

Just let it go chaps.
