Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank is under a lot of pressure after a disappointing set of results, and there have been rumours that he could be sacked.
Naturally, the North London club is considering multiple alternatives and has identified Francesco Farioli as a target, as per TEAMtalk. The 36-year-old Italian has done an excellent job at Porto, and he is highly rated across Europe. It will be interesting to see if Tattenham decide to make a move for him in the coming months.
Francesco Farioli could fancy Spurs job
The opportunity to manage in the Premier League will be exciting for the young manager. He has an outstanding 86% win rate at the Portuguese club, and he could develop into a top-class manager in future. Multiple clubs are keeping tabs on his situation, and Tottenham could face competition for his signature if they decide to appoint him.
Frank has been well-funded in the transfer market since his arrival, but he has not been able to get the best out of his team. Spurs are sitting in the mid-table positions when they should be fighting towards the top end of the table. It will be interesting to see if they can turn things around during the second half of the campaign. Unless the results improve dramatically, it is fair to assume that the former Brentford manager will be shown the door.
Tottenham have quality players at their disposal, and they should be doing a lot better than they have this season.
Will Spurs move for Farioli?

Meanwhile, Farioli will certainly be tempted if the Tottenham job is offered in the near future. Even though he is quite inexperienced, he has shown tactical proficiency at the Portuguese club and will look to prove himself in the Premier League.
Premier League midfielder Jordan Henderson played under him at Ajax and labelled him as a “fantastic” manager.
