Tottenham scouts will keep a close eye on Turkish sensation Semih Kilicsoy at the Euros.
Some of the best talents from across Europe will be in action during the European Championship. It will give clubs the ideal opportunity to scout them in action during high-pressure games. Tottenham representatives will also be present in the stands keeping a close eye on their targets.
According to a report from CaughtOffside, Spurs’ scouts will have their eyes set on Besiktas sensation Semih Kilicsoy during the Euros. The teenager has had an exceptional rise at the Turkish club and is now all set to take the field for his nation at the continental tournament.
He has come up the ranks at Besiktas and was promoted to their first team last summer. The teenager bagged 12 goals and three assists in his debut season for the club. While he prefers playing up top, Kilicsoy is capable enough to feature on the flanks as well.
After having a decent start to life in North London, Ange Postecoglou now wants to take the next step with Tottenham and he seeks attacking reinforcement. While their priority is to bring in an established centre-forward, they are also interested in the 18-year-old’s services.
The Australian manager wants more depth on the flanks and Kilicsoy’s versatility could come in handy. With his contract at Besiktas running until the summer of 2028, they will demand a fee of around €25-€30 million for their teenage sensation.
While Tottenham will be scouting him at the Euros, other top clubs will also be tracking his performances. More importantly, the teenager’s performances for Turkey could have a big impact on Beskitas’ asking price.
