Tottenham scouts watching magician with 34 goals and 37 assists

According to the latest report in The Sun , Tottenham Hotspur are plotting a transfer for Turkish winger Kerem Akturkoglu.

The Galatasaray star helped them win the league last season and has helped them to an unbeaten start this season.

The magician who is nicknamed Harry Potter was on the score sheet during Galatasaray’s 3-2 win over Manchester United last week.

As per the report, Tottenham had scouts present at Old Trafford to watch him and will have scouts watch him again on Thursday when Turkey faces Croatia in Turkey’s Euro 2024 qualifier.

Tottenham are not the only club to have shown interest in the Turkish attacker with West Ham also interested in him with the report adding that they have scouts watching him as well.

He has 5 goals and 7 assists in 16 appearances for Galatasaray this season and 34 goals and 37 assists in 135 appearances with the Turkish giants.

Tottenham could hold an advantage in getting a deal done with Galatasaray given their good terms with the club following the recent transfers of Davinson Sanchez and midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

The Turkish club took both players off their hands after the English deadline was over.

The player will be looking for a club where he would be guaranteed playing time and that may not be guaranteed at Spurs immediately.

He could be a great signing for the future. His current contract with the Turkish club expires in 2026 and is valued at £15m at  the moment.
