Tottenham register interest in defensive prodigy ahead of the summer window

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing the Ipswich Town defender Calum Logan.

The talented youngster is highly rated at Portman Road and the 16-year-old has the potential to develop into an important first-team player for Tottenham in the coming seasons.

The Londoners have been keeping tabs on the England under-17 international for a while and they have recently registered their interest in a potential summer move as per Football Insider.

The youngster continues to impress with his performances at Ipswich Town and it will be interesting to see if they are willing to sell the player to Tottenham at the end of the season.

Tottenham seem determined to improve the pool of young talent at their disposal.

Recently they secured an agreement with Manchester City starlet Herbie James after signing the Sheffield United striker Will Lankshear in the summer.

The north London club will be hoping to help these players continue their development and establish themselves as first-team players in the coming seasons.

Talented youngsters like Oliver Skipp, and Japhet Tanganga have come through the ranks in recent years and the likes of Logan will fancy their chances of following in their footsteps.

The 16-year-old defender is likely to be attracted to the idea of playing for a top Premier League club and he is expected to join their youth squad once the transfer goes through. He could end up saving Tottenham millions in the transfer market if he manages to fulfil his potential at the north London club.
