Tottenham are reportedly open to selling Pedro Porro, according to the latest from GiveMeSport.
As per the report, the North London club might be willing to listen to offers for the defender if a club meets their valuation of the player.
Real Madrid have recently shown strong interest in Porro. Reports have suggested that Carlo Ancelotti has identified him as an ideal fit to Madrid, especially due to his prior experience in La Liga, having played for Girona and Real Sociedad before.
The report further adds that Spurs will be seeking a fee above £60m if they are to part ways with him.
Porro himself is said to be keen on a move to the European giants, with him recently opening up about the links. He expressed his readiness to play for Madrid, refusing to rule out a future move.
Pedro Porro’s instant impact at Tottenham
Porro joined Spurs on loan from Sporting CP in January 2023, and the move eventually became a permanent one in the summer.
It took him a few games to adjust in the league but very quickly established himself as the first-choice right-back ahead of Emerson Royal.
In his first full season with the club, he scored three goals and provided seven assists across 35 appearances.
His ability to attack from the full back position has made him one of the best offensive right-backs in the league.
Whether Madrid makes a move for him or not remains to be seen, given how highly they rate Trent Alexander-Arnold who could be available for free in the summer.
However, in case Trent does end up committing his long-term future with Liverpool, Madrid could very likely make a move for Porro.
