Tottenham officials ‘regularly’ scouting €20m-rated ace with 23 goals in 27 games

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Cercle Brugge forward Kevin Denkey at the end of the season.

According to a report from Footmercato, the North London club have been scouting the player ‘regularly’ and they could launch a move for him in the summer.

The report further states that the player will cost €20 million and it is fair to assume that Tottenham have the means to afford it.

The 23-year-old striker has been in impressive form for the Belgian club this season, scoring 23 goals in 27 matches across all competitions. He will be tempted to move to the Premier League if there is a concrete proposal from Tottenham on the table. It would be a major step up for him and he will fancy his chances of making a mark in English football.

Denkey certainly has the physical and technical attributes to adapt to the Premier League and he could be a key player for Tottenham going forward. It is no secret that they will need to sign a quality striker who can lead the line for them and score goals consistently.

They have been overly dependent on Son Heung-min so far. Richarlison has picked up form recently but Spurs need more options at their disposal if they want to win major trophies.

Tottenham are currently pushing for Champions League qualification and it remains to be seen whether they can finish in the top four and attract quality players in the summer.
