Tottenham officials were in Belgium yesterday to watch impressive winger

By Mehdi Gokal -

Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of Club Brugge duo Antonio Nusa and Andreas Skov Olsen continues as club officials travelled to watch the players in action during the Europa Conference League quarter-final clash against PAOK.

Spurs had shown interest in Nusa and Skov Olsen during the January transfer window, with formal contact initiated with Club Brugge. However, a move for Nusa fell through after he failed a medical examination with fellow Premier League side Brentford.

Now, Tottenham have revived their interest in both wingers, with reports indicating that club scouts were to be present at Club Brugge’s upcoming Europa Conference League fixture, as reported by Dutch outlet Het Laatste Nieuws, relayed by Voetbal Nieuws

The North London outfit joined a host of other European clubs sending officials to monitor the player, reflecting the widespread interest in the talented duo.

Nusa did not start the match but came on as a substitute in the 73rd minute, while Skov Olsen was sidelined due to a minor injury.

Skov Olsen, in particular, has been in stellar form, boasting impressive statistics with 23 goals and 8 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions. On the other hand, Nusa, primarily playing as a left-winger, has also caught the eye with his evident talent, despite slightly lower numbers of 4 goals and 4 assists.

Both players are under contract with Club Brugge, with Nusa’s deal extending until June 2027 and Skov Olsen’s contract expiring in June 2026.

As Tottenham continue to monitor the development of these promising talents, it remains to be seen whether the club will make a move for any of them, if not both of them.
