Tottenham Hotspur have been offered the chance to sign the AC Milan Winger Samuel Chukwueze.

The 25-year-old Nigerian has not been able to live up to the expectations since he moved to the Italian club from Villarreal for a fee of around €28 million.

Milan are prepared to let go of the player and they need to raise funds immediately. According to a report from Calciomercato, the Italian outfit have offered the player to Newcastle United, Everton, Crystal Palace and Tottenham.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are willing to take up the opportunity to sign the player. The 25-year-old has previously shown his quality in La Liga and he could prove to be a useful acquisition for the North London club if he manages to regain his form and confidence.

The player was highly rated across Europe during his time at Villarreal and there is no doubt that he has the physicality and technical attributes to do well in English football. Perhaps a fresh start could help him regain his form and confidence.

AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli has previously labelled him as a “quality player”, but the move to the Italian club has clearly not worked out for the Nigerian. Both parties will be keen on going their separate ways this month, and it will be interesting to see if the player can secure an exit before the January window closes.

Meanwhile, Tottenham need to add more depth in the wide areas. Players like Timo Werner and Richarlison have not been at their best and they need alternatives. The 25-year-old could add pace and flair to the side. He could be available for a reasonable amount of money as well, given his situation at the Italian club.
