Tottenham are actively pursuing another transfer before the January window closes, with Club Brugge wonderkid Antonio Nusa emerging as a strong target.
According to Football Insider, the club are working hard to secure his signing and that they are now in the pole position to complete the deal in the final 10 days of the window after overnight talks.
There are indications that Tottenham are formulating a proposal to sign the Norwegian international from the Belgian club and subsequently loan him back to Brugge for the remainder of the ongoing season.
Spurs are not the only London club making enquiries about Antonio Nusa; their city rivals Chelsea also hold a strong interest and even made a bid for the young talent last summer, which was rejected.
However, the Lilywhites are confident about their chances, believing they are frontrunners to secure the deal.
The 18-year-old signed a contract extension with Brugge last year, keeping him at the club until June 2027.
However, the left-winger has not been a regular feature in this campaign due to a recurring back injury, causing him to miss eight games for the club.
In his six starts out of 14 appearances in the Belgian Pro League, the Norwegian scored two goals and provided two assists.
