Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has announced that he will leave the club at the end of the season.
The German manager is prepared to take a break from coaching in order to recharge his batteries and Liverpool are now looking at potential replacements.
A report from the Athletic claims that Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou is ‘on the radar’ of the Premier League club. The report further states that Postecoglou is a Liverpool fan and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops.
The Australian manager joined Tottenham in June 2023 and the North London outfit have excelled under his management. Tottenham are unlikely to let him leave any time soon and it would be quite surprising if Postecoglou decided to push for a move.
The Australian might be on the list of names to replace Klopp, but a move at the end of the season is certainly out of question. He has done quite well at his new club and he will look to build a formidable squad and win trophies with them. He is unlikely to abandon the project at Tottenham any time soon and Liverpool will have to look at other managers to replace the charismatic German at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Postecoglou has previously been linked with a move to Manchester City as well. There is no doubt that he is a quality manager who is capable of managing the biggest clubs in the country. Tottenham will be delighted to have secured his services at the start of the season.
