Tottenham Hotspur need to improve their attacking options and they are keeping tabs on the Brondby IF attacker Yuito Suzuki.
According to a report from Bold.Dk, Tottenham have scouted the 22-year-old Japanese attacker twice in the space of a few weeks. Apparently, Premier League rivals Manchester United are monitoring his progress as well.
The report states that the attacker could cost up to €25 million, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham follow up on their interest with an official proposal to sign him at the end of the season.
The Japanese attacker can operate as the centre forward as well as the central attacking midfielder. He will add goals and creativity to the Tottenham attack. He is capable of leading the line for them and dropping deep as the number ten.
Suzuki has 11 goals and nine assists in all competitions season and he could prove to be a solid long-term acquisition for the north London club. The €25 million asking price would look like a bargain for him if he manages to adapt to English quickly and fulfil his tremendous potential with Tottenham.
Their attacking approach could bring out the best in the Japanese attacker as well. It remains to be seen how the situation develops. The opportunity to join the Premier League club will be quite exciting for the 22-year-old, and he will look to compete at the highest level.
Spurs need someone who can lead the line for them and add goals and creativity in the final third. The Japanese attacker seems like the ideal fit for them.
Meanwhile, Manchester United need attacking reinforcements as well. They need to bring in someone who can support the likes of Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford in the attack next season. Suzuki certainly has the quality to chip in with goals and assists consistently.
