Tottenham Hotspur could reignite their interest in signing the Spanish attacker Gerard Deulofeu.
The 28-year-old was expected to join Tottenham during the January transfer window but the move collapsed because of an injury.
It seems that the former Barcelona player is back on Tottenham’s radar and the London club could return for him at the end of the season as per Mondo Udinese.
It is no secret that Tottenham will have to add more depth and quality to their attack and the Spaniard would be an ideal fit. Deulofeu can play anywhere across the front three and he has been in impressive form for the Italian club Udinese this season.
The Spaniard has 3 goals and 7 assists to his name across all competitions and his prior experience playing in the Premier League will help him adapt to the Tottenham setup and make an immediate impact next season.
Deulofeu has played for clubs like Everton and Watford in the past. The 28-year-old is at the peak of his career and the opportunity to showcase his qualities at a top Premier League club is likely to be an attractive option for him.
The Spaniard might feel that he has unfinished business in the Premier League and Tottenham could provide him with the platform to prove his worth.
