Tottenham are looking to improve their attacking unit with the signing of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old has done quite well for the Cherries in the Premier League and his performances have attracted the attention of Liverpool and Manchester United as well. The attacker has been labelled as an “excellent player”.
It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are willing to pay a premium for him. According to a report from Give Me Sport, the Cherries will not sell the player for a knock down price and they will hold out for £70 million.
It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. There is no doubt that the Ghana international is a quality player, and he has proven himself in the Premier League. He is capable of operating anywhere across the front three, and he will add goals and creativity to the side.
Semenyo is certainly good enough to play for a bigger club, and the opportunity to join Tottenham, Liverpool or Manchester United will be quite exciting for him. They could provide him with the platform to compete in European football in the coming seasons and fight for trophies.
Tottenham have amicable terms with Bournemouth, and they have recently signed Dominic Solanke from the Cherries. It remains to be seen whether they can negotiate a reasonable deal for the 25-year-old now.
Tottenham need someone like Antoine Semenyo

Semenyo has 10 goals and six assists to his name in all competitions, and he could improve further when he is playing in a better team.
He could be the ideal replacement for Timo Werner, who will leave upon the expiry of his loan deal. Richarlison has been linked with an exit as well. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can beat the competition and secure his signature.
Meanwhile, Liverpool need an upgrade on players like Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez. The Reds need a dynamic forward capable of operating anywhere across the front three. The 25-year-old seems like the ideal fit for them.
Similarly, Manchester United will need to replace Antony and Jadon Sancho if they are sold permanently in the summer. Semenyo could prove to be a superb alternative.
