Gray has come up the ranks at the Yorkshire-based club, he was promoted to their first team last summer. In his first full season, the 18-year-old midfield sensation was involved in 52 games and he racked up over 4,200 minutes. In no time, he had established himself as an integral part of their first team.
Daniel Farke used him in different roles in the midfield and even deployed him as a right-back. His impressive rise and consistent performances in the EFL Championship has attracted a lot of interest and Tottenham are one of the clubs keen on his signature.
The North London club have been closely monitoring the teenager for a while now. They are looking to add more depth to their ranks and Gray could be an exceptional signing for them both in the short as well as long run. While he is only 18, he can still end up being an important of the Tottenham first-team and his versatility could be of great use to Ange Postecoglou.
The North London club do have a boost in their pursuit as Leeds need to make a major sale to keep their finances in check.
