Tottenham are interested in acquiring the services of Wolves winger Pedro Neto but haven’t tabled an offer yet.
The North London club’s top priority is to bring in a world-class striker before the end of the transfer window. While they are working hard to ensure Ange Postecoglou gets the type of striker he is looking for, the Australian manager also seeks more depth on the flanks. Despite having extended the loan spell of Timo Werner, he wants more quality out wide.
According to a report from The Telegraph, Tottenham are interested in the services of Pedro Neto but they are yet to make an offer for his services. Dejan Kulusevski’s future has been uncertain for a while now. While the former Juventus star has been a consistent performer for the North London club, they are looking to cash in on him and reinvest the money to bring in an upgrade in that position.
Spurs are looking for a more attacking option, someone who has the pace to take on defenders and Neto surely fits the bill. While he prefers playing out wide on the right, the Wolves attacker can feature anywhere in attack when needed. His arrival could given Postecoglou multiple tactical options. While the 24-year-old could only feature in 24 matches last season because of injuries, he still finished with 14 goal contributions (3 goals, 11 assists).
Tottenham are keen on his signature but they are yet to submit a bid for his services. They are going to find it very difficult to strike a deal for the Portuguese international as he still has three years left on his deal with Wolves and they will demand a fortune.
