Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the French international forward Marcus Thuram.
The 25-year-old forward will be a free agent at the end of the season and he was linked with a move away from Borussia Monchengladbach during the January window as well.
However, the German outfit managed to hold on to the World Cup finalist last month and Thuram will now move on as a free agent when the season ends.
As per Calciomercato, Manchester United are keen on the player as well. The Red Devils need to sign a quality partner for Marcus Rashford next season. The England ace is the only reliable goalscorer at the club following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 25-year-old is versatile enough to play anywhere across the front three and he has been in fine form this season. The Frenchman has 13 goals across all competitions and he could prove to be a quality acquisition for Tottenham and Manchester United.
The fact that he will be available on a free transfer makes the move a no-brainer and Tottenham should look to snap him up.
The Londoners need to add more depth to their attack and Thuram could be a quality long-term acquisition. The French international is entering his peak years and he is likely to improve further with coaching and experience.
Harry Kane is the only reliable goalscorer at the club right now and Thuram could share the goal-scoring burden alongside the England international.
Thuram has the physical and technical attributes to adapt to the Premier League and it remains to be seen whether he is keen on joining Spurs or Manchester United in the coming months.
