Tottenham interested in a move for 24-year-old attacker with 17 goals this season

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on the Club Brugge winger Andreas Skov Olsen.

According to a report from Football Insider, Tottenham are interested in signing the 24-year-old after his impressive performance performances in the Belgian league and for the Denmark national team.

The winger has 17 goals and seven assists to his name across all competitions this season and he could prove to be a quality addition to the Tottenham attack.

The north London outfit could certainly use more goals and creativity in the final third and Olsen will add more cutting edge to the side.

The Denmark International mostly operates on the right side of the attack and his arrival would allow Dejan Kulusevski to continue in a more central role if needed. The Swedish winger has impressed in a central role in the absence of James Maddison and his playmaking abilities could come in handy through the middle.

Tottenham will be hoping to compete in the UEFA Champions League and push for major trophies in the coming seasons. They need a deeper squad to match up to the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City.

The 24 year-old attacker will be tempted to move to the Premier League if there is a concrete proposal in front of him. It would be an exciting step up in his career and Tottenham’s attacking system should be a good fit for him as well.

A move in January seems unlikely and it remains to be seen whether the Tottenham follow up on their interest with an official proposal to sign him at the end of the season.
