Journalist confirms Tottenham injury is ‘more serious than expected’ ahead of the NLD

Tottenham Hotspur striker Randal Kolo Muani is currently sidelined with a fractured jaw. 

According to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, the injury is ‘more serious than expected’. He is said to be replaced by Florian Thauvin in the French squad for the upcoming friendlies.

It will be interesting to see if he can return in time for the upcoming North London Derby against Arsenal. Tottenham are already lacking in quality and depth in the attacking unit. The injury to the French band is an added blow. 

Even though Kolo Muani has not been able to make his Mark at the London club yet, he could be a useful option for them in the upcoming match against Arsenal. Spurs will take on Arsenal on the 23rd of November. 

Tottenham have lost their way to some extent after an impressive start to the season. They will look to bounce by strongly and finish in a respectable position this season. They will also look to do well in the cup competitions.

Spurs need Kolo Muani back

They need more cutting-edge in the final third. They will hope that Kolo Muani can return to action quickly and help them in the attack. Dominic Solanke and Richarlison have not been able to score goals consistently. They will need more support in the attacking unit. 

The latest injury update from Hawkins will certainly come as a blow for Tottenham. It will be interesting to see when the player returns to action. Kolo Muani has had a difficult time since moving to the London club. He has struggled with injury problems, and he will be desperate to get his career back on track with regular football. 

The 26-year-old attacker has started just four games in all competitions for Tottenham.
