Tottenham Hotspur are looking to bring Kyle Walker-Peters back to the club at the end of the season.

His contract with Southampton expires in the summer, and he has already confirmed to the Saints that he will move on in the summer. The 27-year-old does not wish to sign a new contract with them.

Southampton are set to go down to the Championship at the end of the season, and Walker-Peters wants to continue in the Premier League. Multiple clubs are keen on securing his signature, and a report from TBR Football claims that Tottenham have already opened talks with his representatives.

It will be interesting to see if they can convince the 27-year-old to return to his boyhood club. Tottenham will face competition from Chelsea and West Ham United as well.

Multiple clubs are keen on signing the Premier League full-back, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up. He has the quality and the experience to compete at a high-level, and he could prove to be a useful acquisition for Tottenham.

There is no doubt that Tottenham need more depth in the side, and signing the 27-year-old on a free transfer could prove to be the ideal acquisition. It would help them add more defensive depth to the side without spending a substantial amount of money.

Walker-Peters could be tempted to return to his former club. The likes of West Ham and Chelsea would be exciting opportunities for the player as well. He might get more opportunities to start for the two clubs as compared to Tottenham. Pedro Porro is likely to be ahead of him in the pecking order at Spurs.

It remains to be seen what he decides.

Meanwhile, West Ham need a replacement for Vladimir Coufal, and Chelsea need an alternative to Reece James, who has suffered persistent injury problems. It will be interesting to see if they can convince the 27-year-old defender to join them.
