Tottenham are keen on Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the summer and other European clubs are keen on signing him as well.
The striker could cost up to €70 million and it will be interesting to see if Spurs are prepared to break the bank for him. According to a report from Corriere Dello Sport via SportWitness, Tottenham have a ‘strong interest’ in signing the Dutch attacker.
Zirkzee has done quite well in the Italian league this season and he has 11 goals and six assists in all competitions. There is no doubt that he could prove to be a quality addition to the Tottenham attack.
The North London outfit need someone who can lead the line for them and the Dutchman would be the perfect long-term alternative alternative to Harry Kane.
Tottenham have been overly reliant on Richarlison and Son Heung-min for goals this season. They need more cutting edge in the final third and Zirkzee will certainly improve them in the attack.
Spurs will want to push for major trophies next season and they could secure Champions League qualification as well. They will be up against the top teams in Europe and they need someone like Zirkzee to score goals consistently and help out creatively.
The reported asking price could be a problem for Tottenham who will need to strengthen the other areas of their squad as well.
