After the January transfer window’s conclusion, Tottenham Hotspur are already planning for the upcoming summer, with their sights set on potential targets.
Spurs have reportedly reached out to the representatives of Barcelona’s forward Raphinha, contemplating the possibility of signing him in the next window.
According to the Spanish journalist Alex Pintanel of Relevo, Spurs ‘have already contacted’ Raphinha’s representatives but they face competition from other clubs.
The report claims that Chelsea and Newcastle were also interested in him last summer and they could perhaps reignite their interest as well.
Despite the right-winger’s desire to remain at the Catalan club, his place in the team has become compromised after the emergence of Lamine who is ahead of him in the pecking order.
Barcelona are reportedly open to considering offers for the right-winger.
Raphinha is under contract with the La Liga club until June 2027, having joined from Leeds United in the summer of 2022 for a substantial transfer fee of €58 million, signing a five-year deal.
Despite a decent start with 14 goals and 19 assists in 70 appearances across all competitions, the Brazilian international’s future at the club remains uncertain.
