Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Ukrainian international midfielder Georgiy Sudakov.

According to a report from TBR Football, Tottenham are keeping tabs on his development and they have been scouting him recently. It will be interesting to see if the North London outfit decides to make a move for him in the coming months.

The 22-year-old is capable of operating as a central midfielder and an attacking midfielder. He will add creativity, technical ability and flair to the Tottenham midfield. The Ukrainian is blessed with outstanding technique and impressive vision. He will help open up opposition defences with his passing and technicality. He could help create more goalscoring opportunities for the Tottenham attackers.

Although the North London club have a similar player in James Maddison, the England international has been quite inconsistent and Tottenham need more competition for places. Signing Sudakov could prove to be a wise decision. The player has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool as well.

“At the moment, I am focused on Shakhtar. I want to continue to develop and help the team succeed. [But] in the future, I want to try myself in one of the best European championships,” Sudakov said to Marca.

“I think my style is better suited to Spain or England. La Liga values technical skills, while the Premier League would help me improve physically and tactically.”
