Tottenham Hotspur cruised past Nottingham Forest by 3-1 in their most recent Premier League clash on Sunday.
Mick van de Ven scored a stunner to give Spurs a 2-1 lead in the second half before Pedro Porro scored a beauty himself to seal a 3-1 win.
Van de Ven’s rocket of a strike early in the second half was particularly significant as it was his first-ever goal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
He was also named the man of the match after yet another solid performance at the back.
After the game, there was a heartwarming moment between Van de Ven and the home fans.
As his song played over the stadium speakers, the entire crowd joined in singing along.
Van de Ven, clearly moved by the gesture, applauded the fans for their support, enjoying the special moment together.
