Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing the PSV Eindhoven attacking midfielder Malik Tillman.

According to a report from Daily Mail, Tottenham fancy a January move for the 22-year-old attacking midfielder, but it would not be easy securing an agreement with his club.

The Dutch outfit do not want to sell the player midway through the season and he is a key member of their starting lineup. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can submit a lucrative proposal and change their stance. He could cost around €30-40 million.

Tillman has been a reliable performer for PSV this season and he has 10 goals and four assists to his name in all competitions. He could prove to quality acquisition for the North London club. Tottenham needs to add more goals and creativity to their midfield. The 22-year-old is capable of operating as the number ten as well as a central midfielder. He could push James Maddison for the starting spot. The England international can be quite unreliable at times and he will need to iron out the inconsistency from his game in order to hold down a regular starting spot.

The opportunity to move to Tottenham could be quite attractive for the 22-year-old midfielder, and he will hope that the two clubs can finalise a deal soon. The American international is highly rated across Europe and he has a bright future. He could develop into an important first player for Tottenham, with the right guidance. The player has the physical and technical attributes to do well in English football and he will look to prove himself in the Premier League if the move goes through.

The player has been linked with top-four rivals Aston Villa as well. Spurs must look to act quickly if they want to get the deal done.
