Tottenham are keen on signing Benjamin Cremaschi from MLS outfit Inter Miami.
The 20-year-old midfielder has done quite well for the MLS club and Tottenham are not the only ones keeping tabs on him. They could face competition from Newcastle United and Manchester City as well.
As per TBR football, they could look to make a move for him at the end of the season. It remains to be seen whether they can secure an agreement with Inter Miami in the summer. The player is highly rated at the MLS club and they might not want to lose the 20-year-old prospect easily.
Cremaschi can play anywhere in the central midfield and his versatility will be an added bonus for Tottenham if they can get the deal done. He is highly rated across Europe and the United States International Christian Pulisic has previously claimed that he is a player with immense potential.
He said via Marca: “I really like this kid out of Miami, man. Seems like a nice kid. I’ve been out of the states but been excited to follow Miami recently for obvious reasons, and yeah, I like him. In the few trainings I’ve seen him, I see a lot of potential there as well.”
Tottenham have done well to bring in talented young players in recent seasons and it remains to be seen whether they can wrap up a move for the Inter Miami prospect. He would be a quality long-term investment for the Premier club and they could nurture him into a quality first team player in future. The opportunity to play in the Premier League can be quite exciting for the youngster as well.
It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few months. Spurs need more quality in the side if they want to fight for trophies and qualify for the Champions League regularly. The midfield is in need of additions and it will be interesting to see whether the north London club can bring in the right players.
