Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler during the January transfer window.

The Spanish club is willing to send him out on a temporary loan so that he can gain some valuable first-team experience. The 19-year-old attacking midfielder has struggled for regular game time at the Spanish club.

According to a report from Fichajes, Tottenham are looking to ‘raise their level’ with the signing of the 19-year-old in January. Meanwhile, they are keeping tabs on the AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders as well.

Tottenham is looking to add more quality and depth to the middle of the park. Guler will add goals and creativity to the side. He is versatile enough to operate as the central attacking midfielder as well as a winger. He has the technical attributes to thrive in English football, and he could be an important player for Spurs during the second half of the season.

The 19-year-old will be desperate for regular game time and the opportunity to showcase his qualities in the Premier League will be quite attractive. He will look to use the opportunity and return to Real Madrid as a better player next summer.

Guler is widely regarded as one of the finest young attacking talents in world football and Spurs would do well to secure his signature. It would be an inexpensive addition for them, and it would allow them to invest in the other areas of their squad as well.

The 19-year-old was quite impressive for his country in the recently concluded European championships, and there is no doubt that he can succeed in English football as well. It will be interesting to see if he can adapt to the Premier League quickly and hit the ground running.
