Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Juventus defender Andrea Cambiaso.
A report from Calciomercato claims that a number of clubs are keeping tabs on the 23-year-old full-back and there is talk of interest from the North London club as well.
It will be interesting to see if Tottenham decide to move for a left-back in the coming months. They already have Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies at their disposal. If they decide to move for Cambiaso in the coming months, it is fair to assume that they will partway with Davies.
Udogie has been outstanding for Tottenham this season and he has established himself as a regular starter for the side. Cambiaso will be expected to compete with him for the starting spot.
The report from Calciomercato claims that the 23-year-old defender is a man in demand and ‘everyone is crazy about’ him.
The defender can operate as the left-sided winger as well and his versatility will be an added bonus if Tottenham manage to secure his services. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few months.
Juventus will not want to lose him for cheap and it is likely that Spurs will have to pay a premium in order to secure his services. Meanwhile, the 23-year-old needs to join a club where he will get ample gametime, and he should seek assurances before making the move to the Premier League club.
