Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs keen on signing the AS Monaco attacker Maghnes Akliouche.
According to a report via GFFN, Tottenham are very much in the race for the 23-year-old attacker, and they will face competition from Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City and Nottingham Forest.
Maghnes Akliouche would be a future asset
Akliouche is a prodigious young talent with a bright future, and he could be an important player for Tottenham in future. They need more quality and depth in the attacking unit, and the 23-year-old will help create scoring opportunities for his teammates and find the back of the net as well. He managed to create 12 assists last season, and he found the back of the net seven times as well.
Son Heung-min and Richarlison have been linked with moves away from Tottenham, and they need to replace them. The talented young French attacker could prove to be a solid long-term investment. However, the asking price could be a problem. He is valued at €70 million, and Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy is unlikely to sanction a big-money move for an unproven talent like him.
It remains to be seen how the situation develops over the next few weeks. Spurs must improve the attacking unit before the new season begins. Apart from signing a quality wide player, they should invest in a striker as well.
The player could fancy a Premier League move

Akliouche could be tempted to move to the Premier League this summer. It would be a huge step in his career, and he would get to test himself against top-class players in England. Regular football in the Premier League could bring out the best in the player as well.
It will be interesting to see if the other English clubs follow up on their interest with an official offer to sign the player.
