Tottenham Hotspur suffered their first league defeat of the season in a dramatic and chaotic match against Chelsea on Monday night.
The match had everything including 5 goals, 5 disallowed goals, 2 red cards, and multiple VAR reviews.
The game also saw injuries to two of Spurs’ best players in Micky van de Ven and James Maddison which Ange would perhaps consider to be the biggest negative from the night.
Summer signing Guglielmo Vicario was the hero of the night for Spurs making a number of world class saves to keep the 9-men Spurs in the game up until the 75th minute. If not for him, Spurs would have lost the game by much more than 3 goals.
To everyone’s surprise, Ange fielded a 0-7-1 formation with an extremely high defense line. Despite being at a disadvantage, Ange did not back down from his attacking philosophy.
In fact, Spurs created several chances of their own and Dier even scored a superb goal but it was chalked off for offside.
Despite the heavy defeat, Tottenham fans were proud of the fighting spirit and the never give up attitude that the players showcased during the game.
And Tottenham right-back Pedro Porro posted a message on his Instagram story earlier today conveying the same spirit.

Pedro Porro was one of the standout performers for Spurs against Chelsea who left it all out on the pitch. He is very quickly becoming one of the fan favourites because of his unwavering passion.
