Tottenham have officially confirmed that promising teenager Jamie Donley has signed a new deal with the club.
Club insider Paul O’Keefe reported yesterday that the player has signed a new deal.
It was also reported by Alasdair Gold that the club has decided to loan him out to Leyton Orient for further development.
The club has now officially announced both. They confirmed that the player has signed a new contract with the club and has been sent out to Leyton Orient on a loan for the season.
Having joined Tottenham’s youth academy at the age of eight in 2013, Donley has been a standout performer at every level.
He made his debut for the Spurs Under-18 team in November 2020, scoring against Leicester City.
Donley’s development has been rapid. In the 2020–21 season, he scored three goals in ten appearances in the Under-18 Premier League, contributing to the team’s successes in the Under-17 and Under-18 leagues.
Last season, he further demonstrated his attacking prowess, scoring 8 goals and providing 17 assists in 27 appearances across all competitions.
Tottenham are enthusiastic about Donley’s continued growth and look forward to his contributions in the future.
The club remains hopeful that this loan move will provide him with the essential experience to further enhance his development and potential impact on the team.
