Tottenham Hotspur are confident of signing Mathys Tel permanently at the end of the season.
The Bayern Munich attacker joined Tottenham on loan during the January transfer window and the North London club have an option to make the move permanent for a fee of around £45 million.
According to Give Me Sport, the player has now indicated that he is enjoying life in the Premier League and he could be open to staying beyond the current season. The report further adds that Spurs are growing in confidence and they are optimistic of getting the deal done.
The 19-year-old is a prodigious talent with a bright future and keeping him at the club for the long term would be a wise decision. He is versatile enough to slot into multiple attacking roles and he could be an asset for the club in the long run.
The French attacker is highly rated across Europe and multiple clubs were keen on him before Tottenham signed him on loan. It will be interesting to see if any other club tries to convince the player to join them in the summer.

Tottenham are expected to part ways with Timo Werner and Richarlison in the summer, and they need more quality and depth in the attacking unit. Apart from signing Tel permanently, they should look to invest in another dynamic attacker who is capable of operating anywhere across the front three.
It will be interesting to see if the youngster can impress in the Premier League over the next few months. Spurs have had a disappointing season so far and they could miss out on Champions League qualification. They need to finish the season strongly and signal their ambitions clearly in order to convince top talents like Tel to stay.
