Tottenham remain interested in signing the Juventus midfielder Nicolo Fagioli.
According to a report from CaughtOffside, multiple Premier League clubs are keen on signing the 23-year-old central midfielder, and they would be willing to submit an offer for him.
The midfielder is valued at €25 million and the clubs interested in him would not have any issues paying up. However, they are yet to submit a proposal for the player and the report states that they are best positioned to get the deal done.
Spurs need more quality and depth in the middle of the park, and the 23-year-old could prove to be a quality long-term investment for them. He has the attributes to develop into a complete central midfielder. He will help out defensively and add creativity and drive to the side as well.
The reported asking price seems quite reasonable for a player of his potential and he could easily justify the investment in the coming seasons. The likes of West Ham United and Crystal Palace are planning to make a move for him and Tottenham should look to steal a march on their rivals and come forward with an official proposal quickly.
Fagioli could fancy Spurs move
The opportunity to join them will be quite attractive for the Juventus midfielder as well. They have a talented squad and an ambitious project. Even though their performances have been inconsistent this season, there are clear signs of progress under Ange Postecoglou.
