Tottenham to compete with Arsenal for €25-30 million-rated attacking prodigy

Tottenham are all set to battle it out with Arsenal for the services of Turkish wonderkid Semih Kilicsoy.

Multiple top clubs are interested in acquiring the services of Semih Kilicsoy. The 18-year-old Turkish sensation has already established himself in the Besiktas first team and according to a report from CaughtOffside, North London clubs Tottenham and Arsenal are ready to battle it out for his signature.

Kilicsoy came up the ranks at the Turkish club before getting promoted to their first team last summer. He has featured in a total of 30 matches this term and has contributed towards 13 goals (11 goals, 2 assists). His impressive rise and consistent performances for Besiktas have put him on the radar of multiple top clubs.

While the teenage striker still has over four years left on his new deal with the Turkish club, he could be on the move in the summer given the amount of interest in him. According to the report, a fee of around €25-30 million could be enough to prise him away.

Tottenham are one of the clubs that have been scouting the Turkish wonderkid. Spurs decided against signing a replacement for Harry Kane last summer and their priority is to bring in a top forward this time around.

But, they could also push for the teenager’s services as he seems to have a bright future ahead of him. The 18-year-old striker is capable enough to feature on the flanks and he is equally good with both feet. He could be a valuable addition Spurs’ squad.

While Tottenham are keen on signing Kilicsoy, they might have to compete with Arsenal for his signature. The Gunners have been monitoring him and could make a move in the summer. Mikel Arteta is looking for a prominent goal-scorer to help his team take the next step but they could also make a move for the teenager as he will add depth and could help them in the long run.
