Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Sunderland midfielder Noah Sadiki at the end of the season.

The 21-year-old DR Congo International has been outstanding since joining the Premier League club, and he is on the radar of multiple top clubs. They will face competition from Arsenal for his signature, as per CaughtOffside.

Sadiki has been hailed as a “really good player” by Regis Le Bris.

Noah Sadiki could cost a lot

The player could cost around €60 million (£52m) in the summer, and any move for him will be dependent on Tottenham’s ability to secure survival in the top flight. They need to secure safety in the Premier League in order to attract top-quality talent like him.

The midfielder could be attracted to the idea of joining a big club this summer. He will look to take the next step in his development, and they move to the North London club could be exciting for him.

It remains to be seen whether Tottenham is prepared to pay the asking price. They will need to improve multiple areas of the squad, but signing a combative midfielder in the summer should be a top priority. Joao Palhinha will leave the club when his loan deal expires, and they need to replace him properly. The 21-year-old could be the ideal long-term replacement.

Sadiki would improve Spurs

The African has shown that he can thrive at the highest level, and he will add physical and defensive steel to the Tottenham midfield. He’s a young player with a lot of potential, and he could improve with coaching and experience. He has all the tools to develop into a superstar in the Premier League.

Even though the asking price is quite high, the player could justify the investment in future.

Meanwhile, Arsenal could be an attractive option for the player as well. They are regularly fighting for major trophies, and Sadiki could fancy joining them. They need more physicality in the middle of the park, and the 21-year-old could be an upgrade on Christian Norgaard.
