Tottenham are reportedly ‘looking to sign’ Boca Juniors’ versatile midfielder Kevin Zenón as they look to bolster their squad in future transfer windows.
According to Boca Noticias, Spurs are among several European clubs, including Newcastle United and Benfica, expressing interest in the 23-year-old Argentine.
Zenón, known for his versatility, can play as a midfielder, winger, or even left-back, making him a highly appealing option for Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou.
This adaptability fits well with Postecoglou’s dynamic system, which often requires players to shift between roles seamlessly.
With a contract at Boca Juniors running until June 2028, Zenón has a €15 million release clause. Tottenham are reportedly weighing their options, with a potential move for the midfielder being considered either in the January transfer window or next summer.
Last season, Zenón’s contributions were key to Boca Juniors, as he scored four goals and provided seven assists across 33 appearances in all competitions.
Across his career so far, he has scored 10 goals and assisted another 17 in 146 games across all competitions.
His rise to prominence in Argentina, including being scouted by Lionel Messi’s father, Jorge Messi, has made him a highly sought-after player.
Tottenham fans will be eager to see if the club secures Zenón’s signature, which would provide the squad with greater depth and versatility as the club aims to compete on multiple fronts under Postecoglou.
