Thomas Frank is facing what will be a critical pathway out of this initial season at Tottenham, and one which has been largely a mixed bag, with many fans voicing their frustration with the results and the style of the football.

Christmas is coming, and decisions about where THFC might spend its cash injection from the Lewis Family are flying around like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Frank is thought to be prioritising reinforcements in the forward line and wide areas for the January 2026 window. With Spurs sitting third in the Premier League as of November 2025, Frank aims to address striker inconsistencies (e.g., injuries to Dominic Solanke and underperformance from Randal Kolo Muani and Mathys Tel) and add dynamism on the flanks.

The club has a £100m cash injection from the Lewis family to support ambitions, but January deals may focus on wide forwards over central strikers due to market constraints.

Ivan Toney

29-year-old England international; 36 goals in 83 PL games under Frank at Brentford; 41 goals in 59 games since 2024 move. Frank has held direct talks; seen as “perfect fit” to boost attack and Toney’s 2026 World Cup chances. £400k/week salary, a hurdle, but Al-Ahli appear reluctant mid-season.

Igor Thaigo

23-year-old Brazilian; £30m signing from Club Brugge in 2024; 7 goals in 11 games this season. Frank views him as a frontline leader, “prime target” for our attacking department.

Iliman Ndiaye

25-year-old Senegalese; 4 goals, 1 assist in 11 PL games; excels in dribbling, runs, and long shots. Adds “energy and versatility” to Frank’s attack; contracted to 2029.

Antoine Semenyo

25-year-old Ghanaian; praised for pace and versatility. Fits Frank’s high-energy system; PL-based for easier deal.

Kevin Schade

23-year-old German international; 11 goals last season under Frank; £22m fee in 2023. “Unbelievable” pace and aerial threat; reunion raid amid injuries.

Samu Omorodion (Aghahowa)

21-year-old Spaniard; 32 goals in 53 games since 2024 Atletico Madrid loan. £86m release clause; genuine interest amid Solanke injury.

Rodrygo

24-year-old Brazilian; multi-positional; on fringes at Madrid. “Concrete suitor” for statement signing; fits wide priority.
