Teammates ‘in awe’ of ‘perfect role model’ who left Tottenham earlier this summer

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane joined Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window.

The 30-year-old England international moved to the German club with hopes of winning major trophies and he has made a dream start to life in the Bundesliga.

The striker has 21 goals in 16 appearances across all competitions and he has picked up 7 assists along the way as well.

A report from the Athletic now claims that the striker’s Bayern Munich teammates are “in awe of Kane: he combines unshakable self-confidence with genuine humility.”

The source from Athletic added: “For Kane, it’s all about the team winning. He’s the perfect role model for everyone else with that kind of attitude.”

Kane is one of the best players in the world and he has proven himself consistently over the years in the Premier League. It is hardly a surprise that he has hit the ground running in German football.

He is yet to win a major trophy in his club career and it remains to be seen whether he can guide Bayern Munich to a league title and the Champions League trophy this season.

The striker has clearly made an impression on his teammates and they will be hoping that he can continue his red-hot form in the upcoming months as well.

There is no doubt that the England international will be the key to Bayern Munich winning major trophies this season.

The German outfit have missed a reliable presence up top since the departure of Robert Lewandowski and Kane seems to have finally filled that void.

Meanwhile, Tottenham fans will certainly be disappointed with the way Kane has been performing at his new club. They will be wondering what could have been had the England international stayed in the Premier League with them.

They have played some impressive football under Ange Postecoglou and the Australian manager could have brought out the best in Kane with his attacking philosophy.
