‘Talks are progressing well’: Player ‘keen’ on Spurs move, Euro outfit want club-record fee

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur are working on a deal to sign the Norwegian winger Antonio Nusa.

According to Sacha Tavolieri, ‘talks are progressing’ well between the two clubs and the 18-year-old winger is ‘keen’ on joining the north London club.

However, Tottenham will have to pay a premium to secure his signature. Club Brugge sanctioned the departure of Charles De Ketelaere for €36 million and they will demand a club-record fee for Nusa now.

The Norwegian winger is highly rated around Europe and he has the attributes to develop into a top-class attacker with the right guidance. There is no doubt that the 18-year-old could eventually justify the investment, but it remains to be seen whether Tottenham are prepared to break the bank for him now.

The Premier League club are hoping to sign him this month and loan him back to the Belgian club until the summer transfer window.

It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can finalise an agreement over the next few days. Nusa would be a superb future investment for Spurs and he could develop into a key player for them in the near future.

Tottenham need more sharpness in the final third and Nusa would add pace, flair and goals to the side. It is no surprise that the 18-year-old is keen on a move to the Premier League. A move to Spurs would be a major step up in his career and the Londoners could provide him with the platform to showcase his abilities at a high level.
