Spurs receive major boost: Micky van de Ven reveals return date during Darts appearance

By Mehdi Gokal -

Massive boost for Tottenham as Micky van de Ven himself has confirmed his return date.

The Dutch defender has been out with a hamstring injury since the 4-1 defeat against Chelsea. He was forced off before half-time and was expected to be out until February.

However, recent reports have claimed that he might be ahead of time in his recovery and could return earlier.

Injury expert Dr. Rajpal Brar also suggested that the player may be closing in on a return from injury sooner than expected.

And now the player himself has given Tottenham fans the good news confirming that he will be back in two weeks.

According to journalist Rob Maul, the former Wolfsburg star was in attendance at the Darts where he won a nine-dart challenge on the Ally Pally stage and beat retiring darts referee Russell Bray.

He revealed afterwards that he will be back in training within two weeks.

Rob Maul shared the update on X:

“Tottenham centre-back Micky van de Ven wins a nine-darts challenge on the Ally Pally stage against retiring darts referee Russell Bray. Says he will be back to training within two weeks.”
