Spurs keen to swoop in for star winger from Premier League rivals – club could be forced to sell him

Tottenham’s pursuit of Pedro Neto has gained momentum amid reports suggesting his departure from Wolves as part of the club’s adherence to Financial Fair Play regulations.

Spurs have been plotting to build upon their thriving business in January, with several players on their radar for potential signings.

It has been recently reported by the reliable Spurs insider Paul O Keefe that the club will prioritise signing a winger over a centre forward in the upcoming transfer window.

The Sun’s report indicates Wolves’ intention to offload Neto to fund summer transfers, prompting Tottenham’s keen interest in signing the talented wide forward.

However, Tottenham are not the only club interested in signing him; Liverpool and Arsenal are also said to be keen.

Despite Neto’s contract having more than three years remaining, Wolves are open to an early sale.

The 23-year-old has been a standout performer for Wolves this season, contributing two goals and eight assists in 15 Premier League appearances.

He would be a fantastic signing who would fit straight into Ange’s team, but him being a high injury risk would be a key factor for Spurs.

That being said, O Keefe recently admitted that for the right price, Spurs would swoop in for him.
