Spurs eyeing summer move for attacker with 14 goals & 24 assists; club will allow him to leave

By Mehdi Gokal -

Tottenham have already started identifying potential targets for the upcoming summer transfer window.

It has been recently reported by the reliable Spurs insider Paul O Keefe that the club will prioritise signing a winger over a centre forward in the upcoming transfer window.

And among the wide attackers linked with a move includes Barcelona’s Raphinha and Wolves’ Pedro Neto.

Gary Jacob, a journalist with The Times, has affirmed Spurs’ interest in the 23-year-old Portuguese winger Neto.

According to the report, Tottenham have been closely monitoring Neto’s performances, with a view to making a move for him in the summer transfer window.

Jacob also suggests that Wolves may be open to considering offers for Neto if a significant bid in the region of £60 million is tabled at the end of the season.

Financial Fair Play regulations could compel Wolves to entertain such offers, potentially leading to Neto’s departure from the club.

The 23-year-old has been a standout performer for Wolves this season, contributing two goals and nine assists in 16 Premier League appearances, taking his overall tally for the club to 14 goals and 24 assists in 130 appearances across all competitions.

And the player made sure to impress Tottenham fans yesterday with a stunning assist for Joao Gomes’ winning goal against them.
