Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Serbian international striker Dušan Vlahović.
According to a report via Calciomercatoweb, the Premier League side could make a move to sign the 22-year-old Juventus striker if Harry Kane decides to leave the club at the end of the season.
Apparently, Vlahovic is Antonio Conte’s ‘old obsession’.
The 29-year-old England international has been heavily linked with a move away from the club over the last two seasons and Bayern Munich are expected to make a move for him in 2023.
Conte will need to bring in a top-class replacement for Kane if he decides to move on and Vlahovic seems like an impressive alternative.
The Serbian has already proven his quality in the Italian league and he has the technical and physical attributes to thrive in the Premier League as well.
However, Juventus paid £66.6 million for his services and they are likely to demand a premium if Tottenham come calling.
Furthermore, it remains to be seen whether Spurs can convince the player to leave Juventus and move to the Premier League.
The presence of Antonio Conte at the helm could be a decisive factor. The Tottenham manager is highly respected in Italian football and he has proven himself as a world-class coach across multiple leagues.
There is no doubt that the Spurs boss could help Vlahović improve as a player and fulfil his tremendous potential.

I like Meslier as a natural long-term successor to Lloris for both us and France. Not that I really care how France does.
