Spurs Allegedly Quoted ‘Something Like’ €60M For Harry Kane Replacement

By The Boy -

Spurs have just been linked with a striker, which could prove ominous, with multiple outlets suggesting that Harry Kane is considering his position at Spurs, once the England captain has dispensed with the Euros competition.

Calciomercato believe that Tottenham, along with Atlético and Milan, is interested in the 21-year-old attacker. There are a number of issues here before anyone goes wild over this suggestion.

Firstly, there is the small matter of the Italian outlet’s valuation, which is an eye-watering ‘something like’ €60million. However, a more pressing concern might be that this last season was effectively the boy’s breakthrough one, his 21-goal tally in Serie A is impressive, but he’s never scored so many in his career to date.

Is this Harry Kane’s replacement? Almost certainly not, however stranger things have happened, after all, only this week a woman who wasn’t married to Matt Hancock’s found him irresistible.

This strikes me as a speculative transfer rumour at best.

What we’ll end up doing is replacing Kane with the type of player who views signing for Spurs as a step up or a nice end of career big pay day.

As unrealistic as it seems I would like us to replace Kane with 3 players 1 Prem experienced( Ings type although injury prone🤦🏻‍♂️) and 2 others off the top of my head: Dembele, Kalajdzic, Vlahovic , Daka( would have been on my list but too slow). To replace Kane will take all the Kane money and still probably slow burn but spent wisely and we could be set up for years. Like I said unlikely but seeing we are only speculating.

I would suggest it’s the most goals he’s scored to date because he’s only 21 which makes it all the more impressive to do so in Serie A. To directly replace Kane would be nearly impossible but this is a good start and as for the reported fee( I suspect this is optimistic in the current climate) now would be an opportune moment with very few clubs able to pay lumps upfront( and a few distracted by Kane Haaland). It wouldn’t be like us but with the Kane money 🤞🏻
